The Pacific Rims Festival took place in the streets of Old Sacramento and the Downtown Plaza May 23rd of 2010. A couple of the Miss and Teen Asia Sacramento girls –Beatrice, Tiffany, Katie – and I appeared at the day of the event. I can speak for the 4 of us that we had a great time.  With some California sun and fans, the day couldn’t have been better. The turnout of the crowd was amazing, and several of them got the chance to see us talk on the Well Fargo’s stage. We gave around a 20 minute presentation about who we are, what MAS was about, and even talked about our platforms! There was so much to do and so much to see! We took the time to talk to our peers and sign autographs/take pictures. But when we weren’t, we were making the effort to make paper cranes or watching a group of girls perform a traditional Hawaiian dance.  At the event, I was given the opportunity to meet new people and to create relationships among them. I even ran across familiar faces! In addition, we had programs books for sell for $2 donation, and I would just like to give a special thanks to those who supported the foundation/pageant. Thank you Pacific Rims for having me and thank you to those who came out!
