July 21, 2012 – Little Miss Capital City Pageant @ Crest Theater
First off, I would like to thank Miss Kandice Kelly, the founder and director of The Girls’ Self-Esteem Program (G-SEP) for inviting Miss Asia Sacramento to the Little Miss Capital City Pageant.
The Girls Self-Esteem Program (G-SEP) is a youth outreach program aimed at building self-esteem in girls and young ladies. G-SEP takes a personal approach to help girls ages 4-18 recognize and believe in their inner beauty. This program promotes self-confidence, public speaking, self-esteem and overall excellence! G-SEP participants learn Verbal Judo, etiquette, beauty and how to cope with peer pressure.
This pageant isn’t your typical pageant–all girls ranged from 1-18 years old, numerous scholarships were given out almost to all of the 40+ contestants, and everybody went home as winners! This pageant not only acknowledges outer beauty, but it recognizes inner beauty, brains, and talent of all ages. Throughout the night, all the contestants gracefully walked the stage and presented themselves with high self-esteem, bravery, and great confidence. Congratulations to the following for being crowned for their titles:Little Miss Capital City Winners
